Adrianza smacks grand slam vs. Tigers

DETROIT -- Ehire Adrianza hit a grand slam in the seventh inning to give the Twins an advantage over the Tigers on Tuesday night at Comerica Park.

With the Twins trailing, 2-1, in the sixth inning, Eduardo Escobar hit a leadoff single to force Tigers starter Blaine Hardy's exit. Tigers reliever Louis Coleman then issued a walk to Miguel Sano before punching out Max Kepler and inducing a fly ball off the bat of pinch-hitter Jake Cave. Warwick Saupold was called upon after Coleman issued a two-out walk to Logan Morrison to load the bases, which paved the way for Adrianza.
