Wolves Sign Jordan Bell, Acquire Two Players in Trade

In the last hour, it has been reported that the Wolves are indeed at least tangentially involved in the Nets-Warriors D’Angelo Russell deal. The Warriors are sending Shabazz Napier and Treveon Graham along with cash to the Wolves after they acquired them both from the Nets.

Both guys have guarantee dates of July 10th, so the Wolves can waive them without cap implications before then, or use them in another trade, or keep either or both. Napier is a veteran third point guard, which is something the Wolves actually need, and Graham is a defensive minded shooting guard, which they probably do not, though we’ll see.
