Just call the Brooklyn Nets "Timberwolves East," sort of.
The remade Nets have former Wolves Anthony Bennett, Randy Foye, Sean Kilpatrick, Justin Hamilton and if you really want to stretch it, Trevor Booker on their roster.
Kilpatrick and Hamilton weren't around long as late-season pickups a couple years ago. But Kilpatrick made his presence felt in his brief time by helping the undermanned Wolves win at Madison Square Garden and in Utah in overtime in his fleeting stay.
Kilpatrick has found a home in Brookyn, where he's averaging 17 points a game off the league's second-highest scoring bench so far.
