The Minnesota Timberwolves have been here before – more than they’d like to admit.
The Wolves held the Denver Nuggets to just 35.8 percent from the field on Wednesday night at the Target Center, but still managed to lose the game 78-74.
The positive was that the Wolves played good defense. Much of that hasdto do with guys like Kevin Garnett and Tayshaun Prince who had +/- of +11 and +3, respectively.
The negative was that the Wolves could not score. Minnesota shot just 38.4 percent from the field and 27.3 percent from the 3-point line.
