The Timberwolves lost their sixth straight game on Sunday afternoon after falling to the Dirk Nowitzki-led Mavericks, 93-87.
Minnesota struggled putting the ball in the hoop for the first three quarters, which led to a 68-55 lead for Dallas going into the fourth quarter.
Wolves interim head coach Sam Mitchell said pregame that Nowitzki was, ‘a good player with experience and knows how to get it done.’ That was no exception in this game as Nowitzki dominated all night scoring 29 points on 12-of-22 from the floor and seven rebounds.
The 7’0 German also got a little help from Chandler Parsons who contributed 14 points on 6-of-7 shooting and Zaza Pachulia who recorded a double-double with 13 points and 11 rebounds.
