HOUSTON - Time to go home. The Wolves ended their four-game road trip all even at 2-2, undone at Houston 116-111 on Friday night by a Rockets team that of course flung the three-pointers with abandon and received a career night from point guard Patrick Beverley.
The Rockets outscored the Wolves 11-6 on three-pointers made and Beverley led the way on a night when his first nine shots all were from three-point distance.
He made the first five of those before he attempted his first two-pointer, on a fourth-quarter putback basket in a game when he set a season high for points with 18 and a career high for assists with 10.
