Wolves bid 2015 farewell with game at Detroit

The Wolves say goodbye to 2015 and hello to 2016 with tonight's game at Detroit, their first New Year's Eve game since they played the Clippers in Los Angeles on New Year's Eve 2007.

Al Jefferson was the team's leading scorer that night and he and Ryan Gomes were the leading rebounders.

Tonight with a 5 p.m. Central start time, the Wolves will see if they can build off last night's home victory over Utah by beating an improved Pistons team that is just getting point guard Brandon Jennings back from injury. He's coming off the bench behind starter Reggie Jackson.
