They did it.
After dropping their last two games after having big leads, the Minnesota Timberwolves closed it out on Saturday night at the Target Center against the Memphis Grizzlies.
Minnesota took control in the second quarter, but let the lead slowly slip away in the fourth quarter. Unlike the previous two games, though, the Wolves stepped up late in the game to pick up the win.
Shabazz Muhammad was huge for the Wolves, racking up a season-high 25 points off the bench, shooting 8-for-15 and 8-for-8 from the free-throw line. Andrew Wiggins finished with 19 points, shooting 7-for-10 from the field and 5-for-5 from the free-throw line.
