The Wolves managed to find a shooter in free agency Wednesday, agreeing with Brandon Rush on a one-year deal worth a reported $3.5 million. The news of the signing was tweeted by Priority Sports, the agency that represents Rush.
Rush, who will turn 31 Thursday, is a 6-6, 220-pound wing who should be able to solidify the team’s bench depth and spread the court with his outside shooting ability.
Rush was with the Golden State Warriors in four of the last five years. He has career averages of 7.0 points, 43.0 percent shooting overall and 40.3 percent shooting on three pointers.
