Wolves 81, Pelicans 74: Terrence Shannon Jr. Impresses in Summer League Debut

For the first time since losing to the Dallas Mavericks in the Western Conference Finals, the Minnesota Timberwolves played a basketball game. The Wolves took on the New Orleans Pelicans at the Thomas & Mack Center for the NBA Summer League in Las Vegas.

Unlike previous years, the Wolves have a lot of NBA talent on their Summer League roster. Josh Minott, Leonard Miller, and Daishen Nix are back from last year’s team with 2024 first-round picks Rob Dillingham and Terrence Shannon Jr. joining them in the starting lineup.

Shannon would show why he was a first-round pick with this monstrous dunk early in the game.
