Both the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Orlando Magic entered their final game of the Las Vegas Summer League sitting a number of their marquee players. For Minnesota, TJ Shannon (left toenail) and Jaylen Clark (rest) did not play, though the former’s injury is not thought to be serious and more precautionary. For Orlando, they rested their 2023 and 2024 draft picks, Anthony Black, Jett Howard, and Tristan da Silva.
There was still plenty to pay attention for Wolves fans though.
