Whew, what a game in Minneapolis.
In typical Wolves fashion, they couldn’t make it too easy on themselves. Falling behind by double digits early on, the second best player in franchise history ultimately took control.
It’s hard to overstate how good Karl-Anthony Towns was tonight, particularly in the first half. He had 24 points and 12 boards at the break, and finished with 34/21/5 and 2 blocks on 13 of 18 from the floor and 3 of 6 from beyond the arc. He was as good as we’ve maybe ever seen him tonight.
Karl-Anthony Towns final line in the Wolves' 112-105 win over Kings: 31 minutes, 34 points (13-18 FG, 3-6 3PT, 5-7 FT), 21 rebounds, 5 assists, 2 blocks, 4 turnovers, +12.
