It was obvious last season that Zach LaVine had the confidence to play in the NBA.
The question early on was whether or not he had the skill. He proved that was the case as well. Now in his second season, the high-flying LaVine hopes to make another leap.
His skills were on display in a scrimmage that according to teammate Andrew Wiggins, LaVine “might have scored 40 points.”
“He missed a few early, man, but when he gets it going, he gets it going,” interim head coach Sam Mitchell said after the practice.
On Wednesday, veteran Tayshaun Prince was asked who stuck out after the first two days.
