Gorgui Dieng is playing for Senegal this summer as it competes in the AfroBasket Tournament.
AfroBasket is the men’s championship of Africa, played every two years. The tournament serves to qualify teams for participation in the FIBA World Cup and the Olympics.
Senegal has gotten off to a hot start thanks to Dieng.

In the first game of group play, Dieng was impressive, finishing with 26 points, 15 rebounds, three assists and two steals.
