The NBA released the first fan returns for the 2020 All-Star Game on Thursday.
With 173,129 votes, Timberwolves center Karl-Anthony Towns ranked fifth among Western Conference frontcourt players.
Towns, who has made the All-Star Game in each of the last two seasons, is averaging career highs of 26.5 points (eighth in NBA) and 4.4 assists to go with 11.7 rebounds (also eighth in the NBA) per game. He’s shooting 51.4 percent from the field and 41.8 percent from the 3-point line on 8.5 attempts per game. His 3.6 made 3-pointers per game are tied for fourth in the league.
