Ahead of a January 1, 2025 deadline to guarantee his contract, the Minnesota Timberwolves announced they they waived seven-year NBA veteran, PJ Dozier.

His signing five months ago came as a bit of a surprise, as he occupied the final roster spot at the time. Dozier had a history with Timberwolves President of Basketball Operations, Tim Connelly, who signed him to multiple short contracts during his time with the Denver Nuggets.
