The Minnesota Timberwolves are celebrating their 30th season in franchise history in style.
The team announced Thursday that the black uniforms worn from 1996-2008 will be brought back for five home games during the 2018-19 season.
Minnesota’s uniforms during the era made most famous by Kevin Garnett’s stint with the Timberwolves became fan favorites through the years, thanks in large part to the green tree lining.

These uniforms represent the most successful era in the history of the franchise, including Minnesota’s Western Conference Finals appearance in the 2003-04 season.
