The Minnesota Timberwolves have made their first move of 2024 NBA free agency by bringing back fan favorite center Luka Garza on a two-year minimum contract.
Garza has been with the Timberwolves the past two seasons on a two-way contract, before being converted to a full NBA contract late last season, allowing him to join the playoff roster.
In his two seasons with the Wolves, Garza has had no problem providing a scoring punch when given minutes. He’s averaged 5.3 points in only 6.9 minutes per game while in Minnesota. During the 2023-24 season, Garza ranked 6th in the entire NBA in points per 36 minutes.
