Andrew Wiggins thought he was done shooting after Tuesday's practice, but he got called out to play a game of Around the World.
Not by a teammate. The challenge came from Timberwolves coach Sam Mitchell.
Coach and pupil went back and forth, matching jumpers, until Mitchell got hot for the win.
"He's a players' coach," Wiggins said. "It's all fun and games with him."
Mitchell hopes Wiggins can have more fun in his new role at shooting guard this season, especially after a frustrating 5-for-17 shooting performance in Monday's emotional, 106-101 loss to the Portland Trailblazers.
