Timberwolves' lottery roulette: the good and bad

LOTTERY ROULETTE

Four solid Timberwolves lottery drafts, and four lousy ones:

THE GOOD

1995 -- Kevin Garnett, taken fifth overall, was the best player taken in the draft. First four picks: Joe Smith, Antonio McDyess, Jerry Stackhouse and Rasheed Wallace.

2008 -- After drafting O.J. Mayo third overall, the Wolves dealt him to Memphis for Kevin Love, who had been selected fifth. Unfortunately, they used a sandwich pick on Russell Westbrook.

1999 -- The drop-off after the Kevins is steep. Wally Szczerbiak was taken sixth overall, right before, in order, Richard Hamilton, Andre Miller and Shawn Marion.
