Like we’ve come to know with the Minnesota Timberwolves, good things don’t last forever, especially when it comes to collective player health. After a run of 10 games with their full rotation completely intact, the Wolves sustained a big blow in their 117-100 win over the New York Knicks on Monday night.
Star forward Jaden McDaniels badly turned his right ankle on Karl-Anthony Towns’ foot while playing defense in the first quarter of the game. He remained down on the floor writhing in pain for a few moments before getting to his feet, but he quickly understood it was more than something he could walk off.
