No one with common sense would question that the Minnesota Timberwolves had a successful season in 2022-23. After being down a starter for most of the year and dealing with other inconsistencies due to injuries, it is rather incredible that they finished with a winning record.
Even though they did not have ample time to acclimate to a new roster after the trade deadline, Minnesota was still a force to be reckoned with. Despite being down two important rotation players, the Timberwolves gave the eventual NBA champion Denver Nuggets a hard battle in the first round of the playoffs.
