Timberwolves coach Sam Mitchell could have downplayed the significance of winning the first home game of the season Monday against the Philadelphia 76ers.
After all, the Wolves have played only seven home games so far.
Improving to 1-6 at home with Monday's victory wasn't anything to jump up and down about, but there was a different vibe in the locker room after coming back to beat winless Philadelphia 100-95.
"Guys were just happy," Mitchell said. "It's hard to win in this league on a consistent basis, and we had not won game at home.
