The Minnesota Timberwolves are starting to make some of the strides fans have hoped for during this recent stretch of games. Having won four of their past seven with all four wins coming against likely playoff teams, the Wolves are started to earn the attention that they drove away during their usual, loss-filled first portion of the season.
A lot of the credit can go to Timberwolves’ rookie sensation center, Karl-Anthony Towns. Towns has averaged 22.7 points, 12.3 rebounds, and 2.1 blocks over his past ten games. The last time the Wolves played the Raptors, on the day before the All-Star break, Towns exploded for a season high 35 points on 63 percent shooting on the night.
