There are plenty of reasons to be excited about the upcoming season for fans of the Minnesota Timberwolves. Coming off a year where the team battled through extensive injury trouble and still gave the defending champions what they called their “toughest series” of the playoffs, there is every reason to think the Wolves will be a dangerous bunch.
On top of that, Anthony Edwards only continues to get better. Minnesota’s best player is one of the most exciting young talents in the NBA, and his continued rise to full-on superstardom significantly raises the Timberwolves’ ceiling.
But perhaps the thing many Wolves fans are looking forward to most in the upcoming year is finally getting a full season to see how Karl-Anthony Towns and Rudy Gobert mesh.
