With the trade deadline in the past and minutes still coming unevenly for Anthony Tolliver, the veteran forward is “trying everything [he] can” to receive a buyout from the Minnesota Timberwolves, per a source familiar with the situation.
This information was learned after a report from Landon Buford stating that Tolliver is a likely buyout candidate.
Tolliver was signed last offseason to fill the hole left by now Sacramento King Nemanja Bjelica. Before acquiring Dario Saric in mid-November, Tolliver was receiving typical reserve minutes. Ever since then, however, Tolliver has fallen behind Taj Gibson and Saric on the depth chart and only sporadically received meaningful minutes.
