The Minnesota Lynx had a busy offseason prior to the 2024 WNBA campaign, attempting to build upon a 2023 season where the team nearly advanced to the second round of the postseason while establishing a clear identity and foundation to build onto into the future.
The Lynx ended up filling seven of their 12 roster spots with new faces, adding to the likes of Napheesa Collier, Kayla McBride, Bridget Carleton, Diamond Miller and Dorka Juhász. Notably, Minnesota signed Courtney Williams and Alanna Smith in free agency while trading for Natisha Heideman and bringing back old friend Ceci Zandalasini, rounding out the roster with key role players to add to the team’s depth.
