The Minnesota Timberwolves entered Tuesday night as one of the nine undefeated teams in the 2024 NBA Summer League. They were the seventh seed based on point differential, and to keep their playoff hopes alive, not only a win was required, but a blowout win. However, that didn’t happen, as one of the most unpleasant basketball games in NBA history took place at Cox Pavilion in Las Vegas.
Unsurprisingly, the pace was frenetic right off the jump, as it usually is in the Summer League. Both teams had already committed six total turnovers through the first six minutes.
