After being drafted by the Utah Jazz in 2013, then soon after getting traded to the Minnesota Timberwolves on a draft night trade, Shabazz Muhammad is now an unrestricted free agent.
Going into the off-season, he was a restricted free agent. But, the Wolves have pulled their qualifying offer.
As Chris Haynes an ESPN reporter reports:
In what was a tough decision, Minnesota pulls QO from Shabazz Muhammad and he's now an unrestricted free agent, league sources tell ESPN.

This means that instead of holding onto the qualifying offer, the Wolves are allowing him to sign anywhere without holding the rights to him.
