Second Half Hurts Wolves In Loss To Hornets

The common theme for the Minnesota Timberwolves so far this season is their struggles out of halftime.

On Tuesday night, those struggles continued.

With the Wolves leading 58-46 heading into halftime, Charlotte outscored Minnesota 36-17 in the third quarter. That proved to be the difference maker as the Hornets defeated the Wolves 115-108 at the Target Center.

“I don’t know if discouraged is the right word, but I’m very concerned,” Wolves coach Tom Thibodeau said after the game. “We have to straighten it out and we have to straighten it out fast.
