Spain suffered another last-possession loss on Tuesday afternoon against Brazil as the Pau Gasol-led squad fell 66-65.
Spain looked to have the win, but Marcus Vinicius Marquinhos tipped in a rebound with five seconds left to give Brazil the lead and ultimately the game.
Marcelo Huertas, who also plays for the Los Angeles Lakers, led Brazil with 11 points and seven assists.
Gasol finished with 13 points, 10 rebounds and four blocks, but shot just 4-for-11 from the field.
After being held scoreless in the team's first game against Croatia, Timberwolves guard Ricky Rubio finished with three points and four rebounds in 16 minutes and 30 seconds, but Rubio fouled out and was unable to finish the game.
