Ricky Rubio hurt his elbow in Saturday’s loss to the Sacramento Kings, and the team reported yesterday that he has been diagnosed with a sprain. They gave no timetable for his return:
Minneapolis/St. Paul – The Minnesota Timberwolves today announced that Rick Rubio underwent an evaluation this evening by team orthopedic surgeon Diane Dahm of Mayo Clinic which confirmed the initial diagnosis of a sprained right elbow. Rubio will be listed as out indefinitely and his status will be updated as appropriate.
Beyond telling us that he won’t play tonight in the home opener against the Grizzlies, this doesn’t give much information.
