The Wolves initially issued Muhammad his qualifying offer of $7.6 million for one-year on June 26th but when Muhammad did not accept that deal and no other deal could be reached Minnesota renounced Muhammad’s rights on July 10th. The renouncing of his rights made Muhammad an unrestricted free agent.
