The Athletic’s Shams Charania announced the 2024 Christmas Day slate of NBA games on Thursday evening. The December 25 festivities featured certain mainstays, such as the Los Angeles Lakers, Boston Celtics, New York Knicks, and Golden State Warriors. However, new teams also made the slate, one of them being the Minnesota Timberwolves.
This will be just the third time in franchise history that the Timberwolves will play on Christmas Day. They played their first on the road in 2016, a 112-100 loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder.
