Now that everyone has had a couple of good nights’ rest after the drubbing that was Game 3, let’s get set for what is already the pivotal game of the series. With only one off day, the Minnesota Timberwolves will be returning to action after an ostensibly unneeded break. Considering the four day break between Games 2 and 3 seemingly only benefited the Denver Nuggets, a quick turnaround may actually be helpful.
Despite Friday night’s loss, the Wolves still lead the series 2-1 after taking both games in Denver. Throughout NBA history, teams that lead 2-1 have a winning percentage of just over 80%.
