The Minnesota Timberwolves has been a team that needs to refine the focus of this team. This is a team that attempted to pivot to a front-court-centric team by pairing NBA All-Star center Rudy Gobert with NBA All-Star center/power forward Karl-Anthony Towns. So how did that all turn out for the Timberwolves?
Well, the final starting five played a sum total of just seven games together. While that is hardly a large enough sample size to know anything about the Timberwolves roster to compete together, it does open the door for questions and or concerns. After all, if the Minnesota Timberwolves front office believed that they could impact the game by doubling down on their High Wall defense, then the results so far have been crushingly disappointing.
