Amid the mess that is the Jimmy Butler situation, the Minnesota Timberwolves finally pulled the trigger on filling out the training camp roster by inking a pair of guards to contracts.
Journeyman Darius Johnson-Odom worked out for the Wolves earlier this month, and Jonathan Stark played on the Timberwolves entry at Las Vegas Summer League.
Both are apparently just on training camp contracts, meaning that there is still one guaranteed-contract spot remaining on the roster.
Here’s what I wrote about Johnson-Odom a couple of weeks ago:
Darius Johnson-Odom is about to turn 29 years old and has played 21 total minutes over seven NBA games, last appearing for Philadelphia during the 2013-14 campaign.
