The Minnesota Timberwolves have a long history of drafting in the top ten, doing so 19 times and counting in their 28-year existence.
The high draft picks haven’t exactly boded well for the Timberwolves.
Minnesota has the worst win percentage of any franchise in NBA history. They also have zero conference championships and NBA championships to go along with it.
The Timberwolves can, however, claim one division title. That came back in 2003-04, the best season in franchise history.
Some of the players the Timberwolves have drafted have been franchise-altering players, one way or another, but for the most part, they are players who developed solid careers in the NBA.
