Veteran guards Jeff Teague and Derrick Rose each suffered season-ending injuries over the past season, which played a big part in the Minnesota Timberwolves‘ failure to return to the playoffs.
With Teague opting in for 2019-20 and the possibility that Rose comes back after hitting unrestricted free agency, there is certainly something to look forward to for Wolves fans.
First, let’s talk about Jeff Teague.
Amidst his numerous injuries and prior to being shutdown for the year, Teague averaged 12.1 points and 8.2 assists in 30.1 minutes per game. While the scoring and shooting were down, it was a career-high in assists per contest for the 10-year veteran.
