The Minnesota Timberwolves hadn’t announced many non-roster invitees to their training camp that begins in two weeks.
On Monday, Jon Krawzczynski of The Athletic reported that Jordan Murphy would be joining the team on a non-guaranteed deal.
The contract is an Exhibit 10 agreement, which essentially means that the Wolves reserve the right to convert Murphy’s non-guaranteed contract into a two-way contract, thereby giving a bonus to Murphy. The move ensures that the Wolves will get the first look at Murphy and will give him a solid chance at landing in Des Moines with the Iowa Wolves.
