Timberwolves fans may recall the story from last summer regarding Taj Gibson donating $20,000 to help the three-year-old daughter of a woman who was killed in a shooting near where Gibson was born and raised.
It happened shortly after the Wolves signed the former Chicago Bulls forward in free agency and was one of the first pieces of news that fans may have heard about Gibson — a solid introduction to the new hometown fans, indeed.
This summer, Gibson is at it again, visiting summer camps and holding a basketball classic of his own that will benefit local school children.
