Tuesday was the first day of training camp for the Minnesota Timberwolves, and despite all the dark clouds in Minnesota right now, Josh Okogie making Wolves fans feel a little better.
Okogie was picked No. 20 in June’s draft after attending Georgia Tech — a school not exactly known as a basketball powerhouse.
Which, of course, is at least partly why Okogie wasn’t picked until the last third of the first round. He wasn’t on the radar of many Wolves fans prior to the draft, but based on his performance in Las Vegas Summer League and what we’ve seen so far, it may have been a fantastic pick.
