After a very active Day 1 (almost) of the Minnesota Timberwolves shopping at the 2023 NBA Free Agency market, the Timberwolves roster is nearly filled. Of course, nearly filled is a bit ambiguous, as the Timberwolves could sign up to 20 players through their preseason. And on top of all of that, the Minnesota Timberwolves Summer League team is rostered and ready to go as well.
So where does this leave the Timberwolves’ depth chart? Well, in a rather admirable place, to be honest. But there are some minor questions/concerns about how the Timberwolves will construct the bottom rung of the depth chart, how will the team resolve the initial contract of SG Ryan Clark, and will the Timberwolves designate Shake Milton as the team’s primary backup point guard?
