The Minnesota Timberwolves playoffs’ hopes and dreams were once again shattered this season. They hoped to squeak into the playoffs in 2017 but unfortunately that never happened.
The Timberwolves have now stretched their playoff drought to 13 consecutive seasons, the longest active streak in the NBA.
Minnesota started out the season 6-18 and never really gave themselves a chance to taste what a playoff race is all about.
They did make a small push for the playoffs around February but that didn’t last very long.
Due to a variety of reasons down the stretch, the Timberwolves were never able to get closer than three games back of eighth place in the Western Conference.
