Barring the emergence of a ‘bubble’ for a teams left out the NBA’s Orlando season restart, the Minnesota Timberwolves’ 2019-20 season is over.
With the end of the season comes time for the front office to review the teams’ financial situation in order to identify opportunities to improve.
The Timberwolves’ salary cap situation has a lot of variables in play, including the restricted free agency of Malik Beasley and Juancho Hernangomez. Along with cap space, the Timberwolves have the following exceptions to use, although the exact value isn’t quite clear as of yet, but both Basketball Insiders and Spotrac effectively have the same information.
