The season isn’t quite a third of the way over, but Saturday night brings the third of four meetings between the Portland Trail Blazers and the Minnesota Timberwolves.
The Wolves and Blazers first faced off in Portland back in early November as Minnesota kicked off a five-game road trip in which they lost every game. Jimmy Butler was traded after the 0-5 West Coast swing, and the Wolves have gone 9-3 since the move.
For their part, Portland started the season hot at 10-3 but has gone 4-8 since that point and had lost six of their last seven before blowing out the lowly Phoenix Suns at home on Thursday night.
