Minnesota Timberwolves: 3 things to watch vs. Oklahoma City Thunder

The season of peaks and valleys continues for the Minnesota Timberwolves.

After scuffling to a 4-9 start to the season, the Wolves went 9-3 over their next 12 games following the Jimmy Butler trade. Then, another win-less road trip to the West Coast, a blowout home win over Sacramento, and now two consecutive losses.

That means that Minnesota is back to a 14-18 record and the second-to-last spot in the Western Conference. They’ve dropped to 2-1 against teams such as the Kings, Spurs, and Trail Blazers — all teams that they can expect to be competing with for one of the last playoff spots in the West.
