The Phoenix Suns come to Minneapolis on Sunday with an 11-36 record. They’re just 4-19 on the road this season and have lost three straight and 10 out of their last 12 games.
One of their 11 wins, however, came against the Minnesota Timberwolves. It was in the desert, and it was back on Dec. 15, in the midst of an odd four-game winning streak. Since that streak ended, Phoenix is 3-12.
The Suns did beat the West-leading Denver Nuggets in Phoenix eight days ago, and there is certainly some danger in the potent scoring ability of Devin Booker and the young legs and upside of Deandre Ayton and Mikal Bridges, among others.
