March Memories | Hill Goes For Double-Double vs. Utah

With the NCAA Tournament in full swing, we thought we’d revisit the great run Jordan Hill and his Arizona Wildcats went on in 2009.

As a No. 12 seed on March 20, Arizona upset No. 5 Utah 84-71 in the first round and Hill led the way with 17 points, 13 rebounds, two assists and two steals. Hill shot 7-for-13 from the field and six of his rebounds came on the offensive end. It was Hill’s first NCAA win after two first-round exits during his freshman and sophomore seasons.

Former Wolves wing Chase Budinger also played for the Wildcats.
