The Minnesota Lynx looked like a shell of their pre-Olympic/All-Star break selves on Thursday when they hosted the Washington Mystics. It’s understandable that they were a bit weary after a number of them were representing different nations abroad during the Olympics. That said, they were still able to use a fourth quarter sprint to earn a 79-68 victory.
President of Basketball Operations and Head Coach Cheryl Reeve was determined to get her team back to their old selves and had an opportunity with a rematch in Washington.
